Widely regarded as China's number one DJ, Ben single-handedly kick-started Beijing's club scene back in the mid-nineties, before anyone knew what a club or underground music was.
After building his fame in Beijing, he caught the attention of several promoters in Europe.
Soon Ben was the first Chinese DJ to play there, playing gigs throughout France, Germany, and Switzerland.
Along with gigs in far-out places like The Great Wall, his current remix work for artists like Faye Wong and Cui Jian keep him one of the most in-demand DJ's in China.
